Career Opportunities

Upon successful completion of the MSc Fashion & Luxury Marketing you will be able to pursue a professional career in some of the following professional fields:

Product Manager

The Product Manager role is to manage a product’s success from its creation and launch up until its removal from the market, making sure that the products are as profitable as possible and boosting their sales. A Product Manager job starts with identifying new business opportunities and then transforming them into specific, sellable products.

Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager main task is to manage the marketing resources of either a product or a whole business. They could be in charge of a single product or brand, or might also be a general manager responsible for a broad array of products and services. Small businesses are less likely to require their services; however large companies often have several marketing managers to cover different parts of the business.

Marketing Analyst

As a marketing analyst, you'll gather consumer information and examine buying trends to create marketing plans for companies. A market analysis studies the attractiveness and the dynamics of a special market within a special industry. It is part of the industry analysis and thus in turn of the global environmental analysis.

Market Research Manager

The Market Research Manager is responsible for selecting the appropriate research methodology and supporting techniques to meet a defined business objective. Depending upon the selected methods, the Research Manager develops or assists in the development of the research instrument. The Research Manager works closely with vendors or Market Research Project Directors ensuring the successful execution of the fieldwork.

Brand Manager

Brand Managers are tasked with the success of brands or products. They overall plan, develop and direct marketing efforts to increase the value and performance of a specific brand, service or product. A Brand Manager must focus on developing a brand’s profit and loss performance, image and positioning compared to competitors.

Digital Marketing Managers

Their roles revolve around controlling a company’s overall online marketing strategy and its budget. They are also responsible for inbound marketing, social media marketing (SMM), SEM and email marketing, as well as managing the company’s online branding and market research and undertaking an analysis of the digital market strategies of the competition.

Community Manager

Community managers are responsible for promoting a brand on social networks. They create their own social persona and have an active presence within the online community to connect with potential customers and promote the brand. A Community Manager is the face of a company, managing communications in both directions. This digital-savvy employee is responsible for all communications, PR, social media, events, and content creation, among other things.
